How workers behave at work often depends on how workers feel about their work. It may seem as if skills and experiences are the most important characteristics of an employee, but attitude plays just as big of a role.

A positive attitude of support and cooperation is essential to providing a safe and secure environment.


These are the five keys to observe as a manager before  giving out promotions to workers


Cleanliness and smartness.



Cleanliness and smartness plays a very long role as a worker. Before giving out promotions, you should observe a clean staff that is smart as well, these set of workers that are to be promoted won’t just gain the promotions and sit at office, they will represent and during promotion you have made them role models to other set of workers.. With a clean smart you are looking at a responsible leader, a well cooperate personnel, a representable somebody...


Punctuality.



Even when you look for a clean smart worker, you should have an eye on his punctuality towards his work.... If workers are not punctual to their work, it means they don’t have high esteem towards their work, and they don’t have purpose for their work. Punctuality shows a worker willingness to get up early, plan and make every effort in putting things in place on time. Punctuality helps a worker standout as a reliable and trustworthy worker. As a manager punctuality is a key.....


Regularity.



Regularity as a worker means that the worker must always report to duty on every working day at the right time without failures unless he is given a leave of absence at work, or on shift. 

The following are some attributes to observe as a manager for punctuality and regularity of workers

  1. It shows commitment to their jobs 
  2. It shows they have interest on the jobs
  3. It show their promptness to their jobs
  4. It shows their accountability to their jobs 
  5. It shows they are self motivated 


Diligence



 A diligent worker doesn’t just bang away at their jobs but patiently and earnestly try to do everything right.

A diligent worker tracks down every detail of his/her work carefully. As a manager looking to promote workers should look out people who owe diligence in high esteem and have it as fundamental part towards their work

Few things to observe to know a diligent worker

  1. A diligent worker does not mean a faster worker, but a worker who is on time with good outcomes.
  2. A diligent worker is a good planner.
  3. A diligent worker overcomes procrastination.


Respectful Worker



A worker who has respect is a worker who wants cooperation, listen to different ideas from his co-workers and clients as well. Managers should look forward to respect as a key factor in terms of giving out promotions. A worker who can cooperate and listen to ideas can move the company to higher place, and can bring peace to the company.. if a worker without respect is being promoted, he/she will be bossy to his co workers and clients of which that is not what is needed.
