Long ago, in a far away forest, where many birds live..They all lived happily and always go for haunting for survival.
On a faithful day,as usual they went for a haunt and suddenly it started raining heavily,,The rain was so terrible that every one ran for it's life..The rain lasted all through night and every bird went into hiding places to get some warmness..
At the dawn of the new day all birds started coming out from their hiding places some went looking for their family others went looking for their friend but their was an Eagle who needed to care for it's family so he went for an haunt..
On it's way to haunting he saw a helpless baby crow..He stop to check on the crow(bird) and find out the crow was shivering and was unable to fly..He must have been beaten by the rain yesterday Eagle said to it's self..Eagle felt pity on the baby crow so he took the crow home...
He laid the the crow on the bed lighten up fire to warm him up..Eagle took good care of the crow for about three days..on the third day Eagle discover that the crow has fully recovered..you are very fine now and your family must have be looking for you,I think is time you go home and meet them Eagle said to the crow, giving the Crow one of his beautiful feather. Then the crow flew away..
When the crow(bird) got home he meant his family sad...we thought you were dead said the mother crow..No I'm not baby crow reply I was struck down by the four days ago but an Eagle found and took me in until I have fully recovered. And the family was happy.
The following day, the family of the crow set out to pay a visit to the Eagle, to thank him for his good heart.
On getting there, the Eagle's tree house has been cut down by a farmer. "This was where the Eagle kept and took care of me" the crow said. The Eagle must have packed, they all concluded and went back home.
Three years later, the Crow saw a wounded Eagle trapped in a cage. With love in his heart, he took his chances and rescued the Eagle and took him home. The Crow treated the Eagle until he was fit to go home. He brought out the beautiful feather he was gifted in the past and gave it to the Eagle, "this a gift and sign of love, share this love with others if you have the opportunity, this feather was gifted to me by your kind, I and my family went to say thank you to him, but on getting there he has moved, cause his house must have been cut down by a famer" the Crow said to the Eagle. The Eagle took the feather and flew home.
On getting home,he saw that his family where mourning, thinking he was dead. They got shock when they saw him, with his healing wounds. He told them what happened, how a tiny but matured Crow rescued and treated him. He showed the beautiful feather to his family. And an old Eagle, the grandfather of the Eagle saw the feather"this feather is my feather, I gave it to a Crow after I helped him in the past"the grandfather said.
The family of the Eagle set out with a lot of gifts to thank the Crow. On getting to the Crow house, they saw a burnt tree but not a dead bird. The Eagle said" this is where I was treated of my wound and nurtured, they must have moved out because of the fire. ThankGod non of them died". They went home disappointed. From that day, it was somehow a rule or a will of giving a feather to any bird the Eagles help.
This feather and event brought a greater love among the birds and the Eagles as well.
Moral Lessons
1.Help anytime you could or have the opportunity to, no matter how small or big the victim might be.
2.When you receive love, continue to share the love so that others would recognize and continue as well.
